How to get Cara Delevingne's Bold Eyebrows
Cara Delevinge is a 21 year old British Model who has taken the fashion world by storm. After gracing the cover of countless Vogue magazines, runway shows, and red carpet events, the world has endured a dramatic case of envy, eyebrow envy that is! If you’re longing to mimic her naturally thick brows, pick up a spooly and tinted brow gel now!
Taming Naturally Thick Eyebrows
Step1: Use a spooly like Anastasia Beverly Hills Mini Duo Angled/Spooly brush in an upward and out motion to tame eyebrows.
Step 2: Set brows in place with a clear brow gel like Mac Brow Gel. For a more dramatic look, opt for a tinted one. Cara Devlevingne swears by Anastasia BeverlyHills tinted brow gel in Brunette.
Filling in Sparse Brows
Step 1: Tame brows with a spooly.
Step 2: Choose a creamy brow formula in a shade closes to your natural eyebrow color. (I personally prefer cream textures over powders as they give a more natural look to the brow). Try Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade; the formula is waterproof making it perfect for summer time.
Step 3: Using an angled brush, draw light strokes in the same direction that your hair grows.
Step 4: Concentrate pigment on the outer corner, starting from the arch to the end of your eyebrow. After applying color, blend pigment throughout the eyebrow with a spooly.
Step 5: Set brows in place with a tinted brow gel.
Note: Defining your brow shape is especially important when creating a bold brow. The rule of thumb for finding your brow’s starting point, is to take a pencil and line it up with your nostril. This standard technique however, will not work for all as every nose is different. For those with wider nostrils, you can actually make your nose appear slimmer depending on the proximity of your eyebrow. Determining distance will vary with personal preference. Next, swivel your pencil from the bridge of your nose to the iris; this is where your eyebrow should arch. Finally, slant your pencil from the bridge of your nose to the outer corner of your eye; this is where your eyebrow should end.
And there you have it folks! With a few tricks of the trade you too can achieve bold brows like Cara Delevingne! Brow envy be gone!
